Hi all, a few months ago I installed an RTS twin plate clutch and new rear main seal on my MK7 GTI. When I first took it for a drive, the juddering was extreme. It was impossible to move the car without at least 2k revs. Had it been a new clutch I thought it would get better as I broke it in. 2000km (~1250miles) later, the juddering has slightly eased but it still judders hard and I am unable to move it without some throttle. The juddering isn't slight either. Especially the first take off when the clutch is cold, the whole car vibrates massively and it feels like my gearbox wants to jump out of the mounts and my gearstick shakes like crazy. Moving it up the driveway is also an absolute pain without revving the heck out of it.
Has anyone else experienced this with RTS clutches? I've heard they are known for judder but get better with mileage. Mine on the other hand does not seem to be getting any better. Would really appreciate some help and advice, thanks!
