Hi Everyone, I'm Martyn and I live in Berkshire. I am looking to get a fairly new Golf R in the next few months, I have a decent budget, but was wondering if there were any clear benefits of choosing the MK7 over the MK6 or visa versa? Are there any gotchas in terms on known faults or issues or if a certain year car is better than another? Any guidance would be appreciated. I currently own a Performance Blue Mondeo ST 2.2 Diesel with 213,000 miles on the clock which I have had for 12 years (I'm never going to sell it) so I am really excited about the 'R' Martyn
