Haha I’ve worked with the general public my whole life so pretty sure I have good people skills.the reason I don’t like people is 90% of them are morons and I think this forum has proven me right 😘

Yeah my great grandad left me the car shame yours didn’t leave you the ability to read then you’d know it’s the original clutch but thanks anyway

Thank you both for your replies,the car is stock and I currently drive a bmw 116d which has recently had a new clutch so I know about the juddering you mentioned and the golf doesn’t seem to have that.the bite seems pretty high but I’m used to driving diesel so maybe it’s that?I’ve also found older posts on here and it does seem quite common in some and not others?

Hi all I’m new to vw’s and just test driven a 65 plate manual golf r and the clutch seemed very heavy to press down is this normal?any advice would be greatly accepted
