Hi there.
Not an owner of a Golf R yet, but seriously considering it for my son who will get his driver's license this coming April and is obsessed with the car. He considered the "competition" (Civic Type R, GR Corolla etc.) but has definitely settled on the Golf R. I still have till April to educate myself about the car and the market for it before taking the jump, and thought a good place to start is probably this forum. I would appreciate any advice, any warnings, any opinions about owning a Golf R. Remember I'm a newbie, so there's probably nothing you can tell me about this car that I already know, so please have at it. Thanks all.
