Ok guys, we are currently on with the R&D for the carbon interior trim covers for the MK7 interior. They will be made from genuine carbon fibre and manufactured in the UK. These will give the look of genuine carbon fibre and they will be really easy to fit. Once the R&D is completed we will be releasing more information on pricing along with some photos. If there is anything you are wanting for the interior, let me know and I'll see what we can do, although the level of items covered by the R&D we are currently doing is quite comprehensive. Hi All Does anyone know if you can get the mirrors in carbon fibre any cheaper if you don't go through VW to add them on as an extra? they are the best part of £500 from VW

Hey guys, been searching for some carbon mods and came across someone selling carbon fibre R steering wheels. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Golf-R-DSG-GTI-MK7-Carbon-Fibre-Steering-Wheel-Black-Carbon-ONE-OFF-PIECE-/201599269347?fits=Model%3AGolf%7CPlat_Gen%3AMK+VII&hash=item2ef040b9e3:g:C5UAAOSwXj5XF6ms I've always felt the wheel is a little too thin and these seem to have a thicker profile. And if you have carbon on the outside/inside I think this would match perfectly. I've never come across this type of wheel for the R, and the quality looks good, is it worth £700+ though? I know these types of wheels are usually around £1k, and plus I could sell my original wheel and make some of it back. What are your thoughts? I think this has the potential to transform the interior.
