Ok,..At the risk of getting laughed off the forum..Here goes...My last 3 cars have been a Mk 5 R32..Mk 6 Golf R and now my Mk 7 Golf R...All have been tuned to at least Stage 1....Mk 6 R was Stage 2.....On all 3 of my cars...Something weird has happened...but a good weird....On certain days....My car feels according to my unofficial and very accurate butt dyno about 15 % more powerful...quicker....faster....more responsive...just better to drive....I'm not sure what causes it...whether its the weather...or temperature....or the tune itself....it happened several times with the Mk 5 R32 and Mk 6 R...Maybe 30-40 times over say a 3 year period..Just certain days where the car was noticeably faster.....and today it happened for the first time in my Mk 7 R....Temp today was average for a NZ Spring Day..not cold..nor hot..About 12-13 degrees C....My car drove really well in the morning at 8:00am and again at 5:00pm....I had it normal DCC Mode and kept it there as the car was performing so well....it goes well anyway...but today...it felt especially quick on the road....My guess would be 15% quicker than normal....And as I said its happened to my last 3 Fast Golf's....Anyone have any explanations or reason's for this?....it doesn't worry me..I just wish it happened more often My car is approx 360bhp right now and have had the tune in for about 5 weeks or so..but today....Nothing could keep up with me on the motorway Sorry for the long post....Just an interesting weird observation which I thought I would share...Any feedback would be much appreciated..Thanks for reading
