      Hello, Yeah i pay £220 a month for my golf R :)

  2. Hi Andrew, Yea that would be great like, when are you back up this way again?
  3. Thank you for that buddy, much appreciated, I'll feed back soon if this solves the issues haha[emoji39]
  4. I'll keep you posted on this one don't worry [emoji5]
  5. Thank you Phil, much appreciated for that I'll give it a go to see
  6. Yeah I'm almost certain it's coming from around the seals of the Windows. As I was saying to Becca there. When I close the windows fully in to the rubber seal at the top of the door frame the creaking and cranking starts all the time, so I just lowered both windows so that it realised itself from the seal and the window was open a tiny wee bit and you can hear the air outside... The creaking stops...? So I think that's where it's coming from or I hope lol
  7. Yeah that's true Rebecca I'll have a look at doing that to see. Where is best to buy this Kryox? I've been doing a bitty sussin out today. I had both my front windows open just a wee bit down from where they fully close into the rubber seal part.. And it seems like the creaking noises have stopped... So is it common around that area do you think??? Because as soon as I fully close the window into the seal at the top it starts creaking again lol
  8. Hi Rebecca, Yeah I've a few folk saying the a soundaktor makes the vibrating noises and that around the dashboard but my car doesn't seem to do that.. Even when on sports mode etc on the soundaktor. It's noticeable when the car is even on eco mode these creaking noises around the door frames.... So i'm not 100% sure what it is.. But as you say... I'd rather solve the issue myself than put the car back to the dealer I don't want them pulling my panels apart as it will never be the same again... Aye you know where the Windows goes up into the rubber part?? Is it best not to do those then? It's just very hard to pin point where it's exactly coming from you know ? lol
  9. Yeah I must buy some of this Krytox stuff then and see if it sorts it out.. Did you get any rattles etc from your MK7 Golf or was that okay aye? Everything was fine up until about a week ago these stupid noises creaking every turn I take on the road... It's soo frustrating lol [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35] Can you apply it round the seals of the windows as well Becca??
  10. Aye it's a 3 door as well, the exact same buddy... driving along the roads, uneven surfaces etc it's quite hard to pin point exactly where it's coming from but defo around the seals of the doors, Windows etc?? It's driving me insane...
  11. Right folks..? I've had my Golf R about a month now and it's start to develop some really annoying creaking noise around the front door frame and the Windows.. It's more prominent when changing from different levels of the road ie of the street and into the driveway at the house... All I can hear is the very annoying creaking noise all the time.... Does anyone notice this or is it just my car that's doing this??? [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah that's good, is there ones from HID direct or something which is supposed to be good as well? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hello, Is there anyone near Inverness who can do VCDS mods to my Golf R ??? Any help would be much appreciated Cheers Kevin
  14. Hello folks, This thread has probably been started before however what bulbs would you recommend to change the factory standard yellowish Cornering lights to give me a more closer match to the Xenon headlights that come with the car? and are brighter too? Thanks
  15. Hello sorry for the delayed reply, offshore at the moment. Thank you for the wonderful comments I'm not 100% what pads was used on the car, as the detailer didn't specify what he used exactly. So far the coating is lasting very well!! excellent beading still occurring so that's good Nope its the standard tints that come with car my man, dark enough for me I think the car looks sweet the way it is
