  1. Hi All, I’ve been searching Google high and low for a similar fault to what I am getting with my AFS in my Golf 6 R. I got in the car one morning a few months ago and the AFS fault came on the dash. Down the road the light disappeared. Another mile, it came back on again. Later that that day I got in the car again and the fault came on continuously until I parked up. It stayed on for around 3 days, then went off for the best part of a week. Then continuously on and off until I got it scanned via VCDS. At this point I noticed that my headlights weren’t doing their sweep on start up. The faults weren’t that helpful! It was basically showing a fault with every part of the AFS system. So, I started by replacing the bulbs in the headlights (they were going yellow, and I read that this is a possible cause of a fault). It didn’t fix the issue, the codes came back. The next part on my list was the AFS Module in the cabin behind the glovebox. I fitted a new one and coded it to the car. Now, I have no faults, no lights on the dash. BUT the AFS is not working, and they are not sweeping on start up. Ive considered putting the old AFS module back in just so I can get a fault out of it! Has anyone got any advice on where to look/do next? Thanks in advance. George
  2. No, but my girlfriends mum works at VW and she said that she can get it coded for me. If its that simple?
  3. Hi, I bought a 61 Mk6 Golf R at the Weekend that has front and rear sensors, bluetooth, RCD 510 and Dynaudio installed. I was wondering as when i start up the RCD 510 at the bottom of the screen it says 'Dynaudio'. I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the head unit to a RNS 510 with Nav, DVD, and TV on? Does it need to be a Dynaudio head unit or does it appear when the head unit is coded to the car? Thanks in advance,
