Last winter, I was driving out of a back alley (slowly) but ice built up on the road caused my front bumper to crack... (downward movement meets 4-5 inches of ice above the actual road... CRACK)... So now, right side of my front bumper is cracked (not noticeable unless you know to look for it) and my "front assist" collision prevention system is no longer working. However, my ACC and lights are still working fine (even though my right fog light is somewhat loose). Anyone has had to replace their bumper? Any idea on costs? And DIY...? Not too worried about the front assist thing, other than eventually resale value might be affected... I know i could put it on my insurance, but if there is any chance I could do it without involving insurance might be preferable?? Any ideas?
