Thanks . It’s Lapiz blue , 5dr, Cadiz wheels, manual , 10k on the clock, winter pack , keyless entry , sat nav. Think thats about it . Plan is to go stage 1 and asthetics wise just some wheel spacers to bring the Cadiz out flush and some Lockwood silk protectors
Hello ! Just picked up my manual standard 7.0 r , loving it so far and looking forward to making some performance mods. Based in Crowborough (East Sussex / West Kent area) . Anyone else on here local ??
My thoughts from having a good read about are that due to vw warranty still in place thinking ; jb4 stage one, DTUK pedal box and updated clutch. Will leave OEM air filter and piping in place if it’s not going to make any real difference. Sound about right or any other key mods for stage 1
Hi everyone. Picking up my standard 66 plate r tomorrow and was after some general mod information. I’m not looking to do any aesthetic to the car and want to keep it as subtle / sounding and looking fairly standard (my days of loud exhausts are over due to being mid 30s with kids and using as a daily) . However i am looking to maximise the best of what it’s got whilst keeping a balance in terms of fuel expense and performance , probably settle at stage 1. My main question is are there any essential flaws with vw’s stock design in terms of airflow , Ecu, or general issues / essential mods that genuinely improve performance. (for example I’ve heard the manual clutch maybe an issue at stage 1). Any advice much appreciated , many thanks .
