  1. Hi all, looking for some paddle extensions but cannot find any that specifically state they will fit a 19' Mk7.5. All show up to 18 Mk7. Does anyone have first hand experience if they are interchangeable? (or if you need to post "hey dummy, click here" but I did Google pretty hard already.... ) Thanks Sam
  2. Thanks. I agree on the clutch slip as I also tested it by full throttle at high torque areas of the rev band in 3rd / 4th. I guess I hear all the stories of mods and clutches and despite only having the Neuspeed pigtail and a cat back system am paranoid... I also agree on what we all know (and sometimes ignore) of warming up first! It still worries me though as I am sure VW engineers designed the car with enough safety factor (in fact I know they did because I used to run engineering groups in the business that supplies them turbos and emissions systems...) to put up with almost any common stupidity without incurring dealership maintenance costs. Again makes me worry how much of that safety margin I may have degraded fooling with it. I will cross my fingers and hope it does not do it again, I will also get a scan done and see if nay codes are up. Does anyone know specifically if a boost leak would cause that light? (BCS system is tapped into boost pressure and discards exhaust motors (plug replaces) to avoid codes) Thanks Sam
  3. Hi, New R owner. Have searched the forum but not come up with a clear idea about this. My 2018 7+ 6M R has 4000 miles, a Neuspeed pigtail chip and as of yesterday a BCS Powervalve exhaust. Leaving work today I gave it wide open throttle in 1st and then 2nd (new exhaust ) and after a deadspot that almost felt like a clutch slip but could have just been a lack of power the ECS light came on and the car went into limp mode with a bad shudder (misfire?). Did the 'off and on' IT department trick and it ran fine for the 100 miles home despite more WOT tests. With the two mods I have my two questions are: Would a slipping clutch cause the ECS light? (doesn't seem so) If the boost tap (under boost pressure valve) was leaking boost would this cause the ECS light? Many thanks Sam
  4. Here you Go. R and Bertie as indicated ..
  5. HI, just picked up my 6M R as part of my mid life crisis and trying to get back to the 8V and 16V MkII's of my childhood. Amazing car will post more as I get used to it, represnted well at it's first autocross. Did go ahead and add a Neuspeed pigtail "tune" which worked well and am working with BCS to get my Powervalve system up and going. Thanks for all the info here as I have been lurking for a while. (Excuse the dirty car...also enclosed is the other German she shares the garage with - Bertie the Blue bike that I just finished so they have someone to talk to! ) Sam
