Hoping someone can help me activate Car-Net on my MK7 GTD!
I have just upgraded from the Mib1 (5.8” Discover Nav) headunit to the Mib2 (8” Discover Pro), everything is working fine but I can’t access Car-Net or any of the online features.
I’ve tried registering online but my VIN number isn’t accepted, when trying with the VIN number for the head unit (salvaged from GTE so from another VIN) it gives me the activation code but the vehicle rejects this.
Is there any way to get around this? I’m just trying to access Google Maps on the navigation, I presume you need Car-Net active for this.
