  1. What anti-roll bar did you fit out of curiosity? Im guessing superpro due to it being 22mm. Eibach and H&R are both 25mm
  2. What are camber plates? And what rubber mush bushes did you replace, and replace with what ? Cheers
  3. Here are a few links to his youtube video’s on it if you are interested:
  4. Haha yeah what a guy he is! Actually drove it using the power too, the engine did end up going bang with him because of an over heating issue I believe which he then resolved and sold it on to another YouTuber called “Calvin’s car diary” who has since deleted exhaust resonators and put on a “pops and bangs” remap to get more sound out of it. I believe he is also now trying to get yet more power out of it!
  5. Thank you Stobsie, just the answer I was looking for!
  6. Due to the discount delboy. The golf R second hand parts market is pretty bare, so when the opportunity came up to get an exhaust at less than half the price it would have cost me to buy it new I snatched it up. I know that more than 90% of the exhaust system will fit my car, it’s just the tail pipes that are positioned slightly differently. Now rather than cutting up my nice exhaust I was thinking maybe I could just swap over for a newer bumper and do 2 upgrades at the same time. My question is does anyone know if the Rear bumpers are interchangeable between the mk7 and mk7.5?
  7. Well that’s the thing I was able to get a good exhaust at a discount but it’s for a mk7.5. So instead of trying to mod the exhaust tips I wondered if it would be easier to just stick on a 7.5 rear bumper and problem solved
  8. Does anybody know if the two rear bumpers are just a straight swap? I can't find much online but imagine someone must have tried this!
  9. don't know how to delete the thread but i managed to find a thread answering this question by googling it. Strangely I could not find the thread searching on this page but it came up when googling it.
  10. Has anyone had any experience with fitting wheel spacers onto their Golf R? I see as standard on all golf r's they get in Motech Performance fit Eiback pro kit springs and 12mm wheel spacers. I have already ordered the Eibach kit as I read on here that it is good and I have used a few of these kits before on previous cars. Now wondering if the combination of both would really set the car off for looks and performance. Thanks ahead!
  11. Just wondering if anyone knows of a shorter from number plate surround you can get for the mk7 golfs. I have shorter plates and instead of just removing the number plate surround and fitting the number plate straight onto the bumper, I would quite like to fit a shorter surround. Does anyone know of any companies who do this? I did think I saw it somewhere one day when browsing through golf upgrades. Thanks for the help!
  12. Yeah I would not be looking to max out the engine or anything. I have DSG which is something I was keen on getting when purchasing the car. L450 would maybe be for a year down the road when I’m used to the Stage 2 map.
  13. The guy I spoke to at LITTCO described it as Stage 2+
  14. Ah I see! There is a lot of interesting topics on here so I will get to it! Cheers
  15. Interesting discussion, I was thinking about the LITTCO 450 turbo upgrade myself but now not sure after reading this. Msportsman however says the LITTCO X is a good option, not sure if that is the 450 he is referring to there or not. I called and spoke to LITTCO and he did say on the phone that for the 450 intercooler nor fuel pumps very 'neccessary', however obviously to make the best use of the upgrade turbo it is recommended that you do at least the intercooler. The fuel pumps should be able to cope with the demand though I was told. Scrap Stage 3 though, will no longer be considering that as an option!
