Is it straightforward to just put a set of 18's and some higher profile tyres, or are there problems associated with it, scrubbing or requiring spacers etc?
I have just put a new set on the wagon, 300 klm ago, and asked the tyre bloke about putting different tyres on the Wolfburg rims, and he said that there would be a problem, so I just went with the tyres for those rims, in hindsight I should have asked him about 18's.

Hi.
It's not about the ride with the tyres, as I love the way it handles, I just hate the look of low profile tyres, call me old fashioned, but that's the only reason I want to get rid of them.
Cheeers Baz.
Hi.
I have a 2015 Wolfburg R wagon, and don't like the wheels and tyres.
Crazy I know, but I have never liked black wheels, or low profile tyres, so I would like to know if I can put a different set of wheels on it, and some tyres that aren't as low profile?
Cheers Baz.
PS. I absolutely love the car, I'm 68 and it's the Best car I have ever owned.
