I live in the West Midlands have a stage 1 map on my mk7 r want to go to stage 2 can anybody recommend a good place that does mapping don’t want plug and go must be dyno and own map tuning any experience of any good mappers please

Hi guys I need some advice I love in Telford West Midlands I’ve got a stage one map on a virtually stock golf r mk7 I want to put a new sports cat downpipe and a upgraded intercooler on it and stage 2 map it don’t feel comfortable with any of my local garages to do such a job does anybody know of a good garage in the midlands that can take on this work if so I’d like to know so I can get this project under way thanks people 👍🏻

Any idea on the breaking issue could that be them rattling as like I said I’m only lightly on the brake

What would stop the pads rattling in the callipers? and I’ve just read you can chamber the edge of the pads abit is that possible

I’ve got EBC drilled and grooved discs and Brembo pads I’m getting a rhythmic noise I’ve read on sites that it’s the wind passing through the pads and the grooves and holes And this is normal I’m also getting a quite loud noise slight shaking and vibrating under breaking at fast speed ( not hard breaking) just gently slowing the car down from a high speed I’ve also read this is normal with EBC discs as they are poor quality has anybody else experienced any of these or know of anyone who has and could give me some advice before I go back to normal discs any info greatly appreciated as I’ve been looking into this for over a month

I have read Dave that 40k is gearbox service time but was going to get it done anyway as don’t know how last owner drove it and what stick it’s had as for the mounts from what I’ve heard some of them don’t give much NVH and my thinking is not knowing how abused it has been and now mapped and getting a little stick from me mounts could be a possibility cause that’s what it feels like an engine movement to me now after gregozedobe said it cheers for the advice tho

It wasn’t doing it before the map but I’ve had the map on over 3 months I haven’t tried in different modes but it doesn’t do it using the paddles or shifter only in auto and it’s only does it when I pin it making gear changes happen near redline doesn’t happen whilst plodding around town but I will look into the other modes thanks gavras
