What an ending! If Verstappen didn’t pit he would have taken the win 😭

Decent race with plenty of midfield battles today. Mercedes strong as ever 🙄 Verstappen did really well considering he was in the wall just before the race.

From a marketing perspective it makes sense to go for Vettel. He is a 4 time world champion after all.

I feel bad for Perez. He’s been consistent over the years and now that he has a decent car, he can really show what he can do. If he looses his seat, I still think he’ll remain in F1 which the likes of maybe Haas picking him up. I can’t believe Grosjean is still an F1 driver.

So rumours are flying round that Vettel is close to signing a deal with Racing Point 👀

On the topic of Hamilton, it’s a real shame about Vettel. He was at one point the best driver on the grid and now looks to be without a drive 😢

Love this! He might not be considered it now, but guarantee you he will be considered the greatest F1 driver of all time once he retires.

Agreed. Personally I don’t think Hamilton gets enough praise as it’s become a norm for him to put in performances like that.

Hopefully next week we have some more action and DNF’s! Charles didn’t need to dive bomb but felt like he just panicked and wanted to make up for that 3 grid race penalty. Do feel bad for Vettel.

I have a feeling Kimi will call it a day and Vettel will replace him. He could also replace Kvyat at Alpha Tauri. The only concern would probably be his wage bill.

Will be good to have some experience back on the grid plus Renault have a young talent in Ocon so I think it was the wise choice. That now leaves no room for Vettel.

Definitely! I hope Russel manages to get a decent seat (maybe Mercedes) as we’re not really seeing his true potential in that Williams.
