Ok mate thanks for getting back 👍 it states it 504 507 on the oil so should be fine 👍 the last service from Vw they put 0-30 longlife 111 but I guess 5-30 will be good to go 👍👍👍

Hi guys I have brought the quantum longlife 111 oil for my stock golf r but was wondering if I should have brought the platinum plus 5-30 ? going in for a service tomorrow so any advise would be handy

Hi I have a mk 7.5 golf r which needs a new top mount ? Any recommendation in what make to fit as don’t want to fit Vw part because they don’t last very long . I’m looking for a performance top mount and do I need to change them both ? many thanks

Hi I have a golf r 2017 mk7.5 dsg which has had the same problem ? Driving normal the engine decided to go bang! No warning light came up on the computerised dash either ? Dumped all the oil and coolent on the road ? Took it to Vw on the back of a recovery truck where Leicester Vw had booked it in to do a diagnostic check a week later I might add and found that the con rod had malfunctioned and punctured to holes in my engine block whilst exiting the engine ! lucky for me “hopefully “the car was out of warrenty with Vw but I had personal warrenty when I purchased the car which hopefully will cover this ? Vw haven't offered any good will gesture at this point but just waiting on warrenty to go through claim . it’s been 3weeks since the engine going bang and was wondering if this is common thing as my golf had only done 36k and was fully serviced by them and was stock ? this shouldn’t happen in a performance engine ?
