  1. 😂🤦🏼‍♂️ my bad I thought I put it in. 5k a year. I work from home so that was fine for me
  2. I presume it’s the same. I just copied it directly from my order info from the lease company 😅
  3. Erm 0. I haven’t received the car. Maybe I didn’t explain it properly
  4. I am planning to cancel my lease order for a Golf R mk8. Back in April 2022, I ordered a Golf R Mk8 from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts on the following terms which is a bit of a bargain compared to current prices... Volkswagen Golf Hatchback 2.0 TSI 320 R 4Motion DSG in Special solid - Pure white. Monthly payment: Initial Rental of: £1,137.42 (incl. VAT) Admin/Processing Fee: £270.00 (incl. VAT) Followed by 35 rentals of: £379.14 (incl. VAT) Excess Mileage: 11.72 p / mile (incl. VAT) When I ordered I was given a December 2022 delivery date and told the cars were 'pipeline stock' with no options so they were confident the date would be met. They informed me in October 2022 the date had now slipped to July 2023 but that could probably slip too. As the car has been delayed so long my circumstances have changed and now need a bigger car so will be looking to cancel as I have ordered something else. Ideally I'd like the £270 processing fee back from Nationwide but contractually I think that is unlikely as their contract is pretty clear in terms of them not being held responsible for delays. One possibility would be to 'sell' my place in the queue which could be desirable based on current lead times. I wouldn’t be looking to make any money, I would just like the admin fee back but not sure how exactly this could be done. I will be calling them during the week to cancel but I suppose I want to see if anyone would be interested if Nationwide would allow me to transfer it to someone else and that someone else pays my original admin fee. If anyone is interested I can send them copies of all the paperwork etc to prove I'm genuine, worst case is I lose my £270 but best case is I get that back and a fellow enthusiast gets the car relatively quickly. Hope that all made sense and reply in here or PM me if interested. I dont visit this site that often (since I dont have the car) so you can also email me on billyw123@gmail.com Cheers
  5. Hi guys, new to the forum but just wondering based on everyone else's experience when my Golf R mk8 may actually arrive? It is a lease from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts. Totally standard spec in white which I went with because it was a good price and they assured me the less options it had the more chance of a quick delivery 😂 Ordered in April 2022 with expected delivery in Dec 2022. Told in Oct 2022 this has slipped to July 2023. Should I be confident the July 2023 date will actually be met? That would be a 15 month wait which based on what I've read on this forum may not even be realistic 🙈
