    Sounds very similar to mine. I’ve had a 7.5 GTI & R in the past both had 19’ alloys and didn’t experience this issue at all, so I suppose it’s the joys of owning the MK8.5!

    Thank you for the response, Rebecca! Shame that it’s a common fault, I’ve been putting the music volume louder to avoid hearing it so that could be a fix 😆 is it a serious issue? Seems to go away after turning a few times but it is embarrassing when having people in the car asking ‘what’s that noise?’

    Hi All First time posting here looking for some help with my 8.5 R. I’ve noticed a creaking noise when turning after going over speed bumps. The noise is more noticeable in the dry warmer weather and I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced the same noise? I’ve been told the CV Boots are quite noisy on these cars and it could be that. Been into VW twice who were unable to replicate the noise so left it as is despite me having a video of it making the noise.
