    @dv52 Thank you, I'll probably just work with the average of the measures you just provided since it's just a student project for now, but as I get access to more materials in the future I'll use a laser scanner on a real EA888 and DQ381 and will provide measurements here and probably the cad model too.

    Hey guys, I'm planning to do a swap of said engine and gearbox (EA888 gen 3 of the golf MK7/MK7.5), I need the envelope measurements of the engine and both gearboxes to model the final fitment first before starting to work on it, height lenght width. Thanks.
