Hi guys i am thinking of buying a mk7 R wanted some advice of you guys. I really want to buy one with the 19inch pretoria alloys, how is the ride on these? I purchased my MK6 R with 19s and the ride was very choppy and actually had a few punctures after hitting minor potholes. Is the ride still really bad on the 19s on the MK7 or have VW rectified the issue? Thanks in advance

Hi guys, Been around since the beginning of this forum in 2009 I purchased a brand new mk6 golf r when it was first launched I am thinking of jumping back into a early 2010 mk 6 golfr. What do you guys think of the future values of the mk6 golf r is it destined to depreciate even further or are the prices stable? All opinions appreciated

After my mk6 r i went to a: Audi s3 to a Bmw M3 e46 to a Cla45 amg to a Mk7 Golf which i did not like at All and now in a e90 M3 Saloon The e90 saloon is a proper drivers car and all rounder, now when i think back why i wasted to much money going through all them cars when i should have just gone straight for the e90 m3 amazing car

the russian driving the m5 had quite a following but died in a car accident on the same weekend as paul walkers death apparently he was passenger his freind was driving lost control driver survived and he died weird how both accidents where friends driving and the passenger dieing with driver surviving!

Thanks for the response guys! I don't want to use my town name there are at least 3 used car dealers with using the towns name. I was thinking between the lines of Crysal Clear motors something like that, a name that portrays clean mint car with nothing to hide as i will be basing the company on pure honesty in contrast to many dealers around here who lie through there teeth hiding problems with the cars etc I do understand the market is saturated and the game is quite at the moment but there is still money to be made! I have worked for a dealer part time getting through uni who are still making good money and i really do think i could do it my self. im currently working in a graduate programme and it does not interest me at all, all i can think about is cars cars cars I currently have a investor ready to help me out but i am first trying to weigh the risks before i take the plunge. Any of you guys have any experiance in the used car market? thanks in advance

Hi guys any suggestions on names for a used car dealer? something that portrays quality and honesty, creating a business plan everything is done cannot seem to come up with the right name. What significance to a customer do you guys think the name of a car dealer has? Having trouble thinking of the right one!! Any help would be appreciated

thanks for the replys guys. i am certainly having a remap done soon as it is out of the garage, having a full major service done will get the camfollower done at the same time. so the only gains really from the dsg map is quiker shifts? R tech is too much of a distance away what do you guys think of APR? as there is a dealer very close to me I will get some pics up once shes out of the garage and had a valet

Hi Guys, Just got my self a MK5 GTI dsg for a cheap run about. I am buying a stage one remap soon and toying with the idea of having the DSG remapped at the same time Can anyone tell me the benifts besides the removal of the rev limiter? is it worth having the DSG remapped? Also what could i do to make the fart from the upshift louder sounds lame in comparrison previous golf r look foward to your replys many thanks

nothing at all was replaced under warrenty after a few heated phone calls with VWUK. i had only had the car year and the engine went
