If you don't need the space a 997 Is imo is one of the best especially if you can stretch to a 997.2 as they are quite a step up. I've had a older c4s and a newer gts both awesome cars and nothing feels like a 911 to drive. Sent from my F5121 using Tapatalk

I've owned both and tbh after buying the r in 2014 (only kept 11months). I always missed the rs4 it was a great car will lots of character which the r really doesn't have tbh. The r is the better car tho as it is newer and things move on. Pros rs4 Great engine Noise Looks Seats are awesome Cons Fuel economy Dated interior Bill's could be costly Golf r pros Interior quality Good on fuel Quick when mapped Dsg Cons Lack of noise Bit boring imo Very popular due to leasing deals Both cars are great and you won't go wrong with either Sent from my F5121 using Tapatalk
