I'm currently running the orginal sat nav update that came with the car (5G0919866Q 0045 ECE 2015) and thought I'd try to update it myself using the 3rd party website VW suggested I download it through. http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/Navteq-NavteqEurope-Site/en_GB/-/GBP/View-Promo?&cwt=application/ApplicationFrame_campaign_light&Page=VW_Europe_Media_MIB1 Once I had backed up the old version I installed the new Nov 2015 update with no problems. It was only when I noticed on the sat nav screen that all road numbers/street names seemed to be missing. With the likes of the M1, A50 etc... there was the box, but nothing inside it!? Does anyone use a different website to get their updates or know a way around this fix? Or even have an updated version they don't mind sending me? Many thanks.

Seen you pull up at ASDA the other day Neg, was going to say hi but we was in a rush. How you finding the R? I don't suppose you managed to update the sat nav at all did you, software-wise?

These don't look too bad! I may have to go down this route, as the alloy repair shops are struggling to match the LZ49 paint...!

Did you ever manage to sort your alloy repair out in the end? I've done the same and it's driving me nuts!!

So the place I took my alloy to has now said they've will struggle to sort it, as it's a case of painting the entire wheel black and then applying some sort of glass layer?!? Has any of you had the repair done on this colour alloy and have been told it's a hard job? The garage said the paint is around £100 a tin. Correct me if I'm wrong, though isn't this just a straight Audi silver and that it shouldn't be a big job? I'm wondering if he's getting confused and thinking it's the standard alloy with the black section in them...

Gutted that the R didn't get these style seats given its the top of the range Golf...

Ok so I know where the jacking points on the sills on the car, though where are the jacking points at the front and rear? Pictures please.

Anyway to retrofit MIB2 units in a car running MIB1? Gutted I missed out on this update!

Just been out to my car this morning and noticed a slight scuff on the edge of my alloy, approx 1.5 inch. Going to phone around a get some quotes for repairing it this afternoon. What paint code do VW use on the Pretoria's?

Has anyone used these at all? I've had mine around 9 months now, I've never put it through the washing machine and it's totally had it! I'm now thinking of replacing it with something else as I may aswell bin it due to the lack of fibres it now has! What do you all use and recommend?
