Agreed on the tunnels. PSE is bonkers in a confined space. And only drive it when I can have the roof down. Which is all the time as long as it's not tipping it down.

Yes. Very much so. It got a little weird when I was commuting in it, but new do the slog in an A3 and the Boxster feels really special on the weekends. How's the GTS going?

Hi. I didn't think you were speaking ill. I was really complimenting the Golf's performance abilities, but pointing out that you can't really make a four cylinder turbo hatch into an interesting driving machine just by winding up the turbo. Hence words like "binary" get used. . The Golf is massively capable. It just doesn't make me tingle downstairs.

I did a four day trip to Wales a few weeks ago. I was in my Boxster S 981 and was with a mate in his Evora and another driving my Golf R (he is finishing my lease off). He kept up with both me and the Evora. But I know who was having the most fun. It was a similar story last year when in France and I was in the Golf and he was in his Exige V6. I almost kept up but it was boring as hell.
