  1. This reduction is indeed across all APR dealerships, as I'm booked in with vagperformance with the same offer[emoji106] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  2. Think I know what plate am after, DJ60 LFR with some possible slight spacing changes[emoji102] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  3. So browsing private plates and came across this beauty, would love for money to be no issue! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  4. I got about 5k discount on the car, 37 down to 32k, which I felt was pretty good, paid near base spec price for a car with a good amount of options. I'll check out the sites you mentioned Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  5. Hi guys, anyone know where I will stand with this? I've got a 17 plate facelift manual had since end of April, however I'm now thinking I should really have gotten a DSG! My question is, what would be the process of swapping my new car, for an even newer one, considering I put a roughly 9k deposit down all in, I should be in positive equity right and make it pretty much a straight swap? Obviously I'll have to give the dealer a ring to work things out properly, but is my logic right or will I be severely out of pocket? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  6. Cool, I plan on getting a jb4 towards end of August and have budgeted for a sachs organic clutch if mine starts slipping[emoji106] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  7. Stock DSG vs Manual JB4, which is quicker, off the line and rolling? Does the dsg kinda negate some of the jb4 power increase or would the manual still be far superior with the jb4 added? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for that, I've messaged nige on here so hope to hear back soon, basically let him know I don't really know 100% what I want so am open to discuss with him, hear his thoughts as he is the expert after all. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  9. Not to derail the thread but how does the bcs downpipe and sports cat sound? Much better than stock? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  10. Quick YouTube video and fit it yourself? I've not done it but plan to end of August and seems easy enough Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  11. As the car is only 3 months old and then I'll definitely want to keep the warranty intact for a while. I'll see what I can do cheers for the help. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah that makes sense cheers. I could give them a ring and see what they say about modifications. Although if they strictly prohibit them then I've kinda dropped myself in it, but at least I'll know. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  13. Yeah I have thought about this, but will an exhaust be less likely to cause warranty issues than an ecu map? I plan on keeping the car after my finance, or at least buying it and selling privately, so will that affect anything? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  14. Oh and just to add, I'm also considering a full turbo back exhaust from BCS powervalve, however that will be early next year probably If I go ahead with it. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  15. So I'm looking at buying a jb4 for my car towards the end of August, as my car is still on finance and in warranty I don't want an ecu tune that will flash up, hence the jb4. Other mods I'm considering with this is a dtuk pedal box and possibly an uprated clutch, however I'm considering keeping that stock for a bit to see if the facelift is an improvement and can handle the extra torque, but am budgeting for worst case. If I do need a clutch then, the sachs is the one I see mentioned all the time, is there much difference between the organic and the sintered clutch, and which is the better option? 16. I wish I was a better photographer[emoji23] couple of indium grey shots, considering black/carbon door mirrors🤔 Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  17. I don't know a lot about the 6r but from what I've heard and read, the mk7 is leagues above, except rarity, so depends what you want. If you want a more one of a kind car I'd go for the 6r, but I believe the 7 will be a better all round car and definitely worth the 3k difference. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  18. That is up there with one of the nicest R's I've seen, and I don't even like red cars![emoji7] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  19. Which size did you get, and how many stickers are there that need covering, just the one on the passenger visor? This will be purchased soon along with the front and rear R badges I think Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  20. I don't believe so, think it is just one or the other. You can have one as the map and the other as 'directions' I guess you could call it, but not 2 maps. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  21. Before I got my facelift I was adamant I'd hate the AID, however now I have it I love it and wouldn't swap it for the analouge gauges, think it looks way smarter And it's so helpful to have, but obviously etto. I would just say, you'll like it more if you see it in person[emoji106] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  22. About 31mpg for me but ive done 2500 miles and at least 2000 are motorway miles Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  23. Lol I don't care either way, just interesting to know good mpg figures are achievable if you wish, of course it's even easier to achieve a lower mpg! Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  24. Don't worry, my R stays in Race everywhere except motorways, even make sure to put it into race when I approach roundabouts just because it's more fun[emoji106] Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  25. That's better than mine then, at the point of taking that is been on the M1 for about 2 hours lol and some of that was in a 50 average limit, and no it isn't daily, make that trip on average twice a month, 440 mile round trip Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
