A touch over 19k miles was due to go down tomorrow in view to buy however things are cooling off very quickly by the looks of things. The car has every option possible too which makes it so hard for me to believe it’s too good to be true. another thing I will mention when looking for insurance quotes twice it’s come up saying it’s a manual when it’s a dsg! however just to make things more confusing all hpi checks come through fine plus he has the v5 and I’ve checked the vin and engine number which all match 🤔😑 could he be cloning this car and has kept his old v5 from a black 7.5?

Well this is my concern, it’s up for sale too, seems a bit strange to me but never thought of the unregistered idea, but yes I thought the 7.5’s were 67 plates too. can anyone else confirm this? I’ve tried googling it but no avail

Seen a mk7 R on 18 plates not the facelift one, I always thought the mk7 ceased in 2017. So like the heading says do you still get 18plate mk7’s then? Must’ve been the very last built ones surely if that is the case?

35.8mpg!! Now I know none of us bought our R’s for the mpg side of things and as the saying goes “smiles before miles” which I certainly agree with. However having to do a 50mile round trip everyday for work it is nice to try get a decent mpg. This 35.8 I achieved was me driving like a grannie with her dog in the back seat which brings me to the question has anyone ever managed to get the magic 40mpg that VW claim the car can do? Cos no matter what I’ve never managed to do so. funny enough I should mention I got this figure the day after I got the car stage’d 1 😃👍🏽

I too have done 33k and same as you only had oil changes from VW 😏 after seeing this makes me wonder what the state of our haldex pumps will be 😩 Can I ask how much you paid roughly for the the full service or was it mates rates? Cheers

Haha I did wonder that myself, it was the guy that sold the car that took this picture and upon closer inspection it turned out to be his briefcase 🤓 which believe it or not came as a peace of mind as I had the image of a sensible geeky office worker previously owning the car and not some boy racing chav....turned out I was right! “I’ve never even used the LC” and after looking at him.....I think that really was the case!

Was one of the first thing I looked at Tom was the bolsters and they looked fine will no doubt upload pictures when I get her cheers

Hello everyone glad to have found this site couple months back, has been very informative and funny at times. Truth is I had my heart set on the mk7.5 and was going to make use of the current scrappage scheme that was going on, had even pick everything and was ready to sign dotted line however after much delibiration I sadly accepted that I also had a house to buy and a baby to look after so needs must! Found this midnight blue ‘15 plate with 29k and dsg with the following extras dcc pets carbon leather reverse cam keyless entry big screen sat nav Think it was because of these added extras it convinced me to get her. Pick up keys this afternoon so thought how’s the time to join up this forum. so here’s to chatting to you guys for the next few years! cheers Gavin
