So finally got to the bottom of the problem. It was the fan control module that was knackered. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Well aye you would think. I did plug it in and no faults so yeah dodgey fans by looks of it. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

So i thought the fans were kicking in. But i double checked by actually looking. They aren't kicking in at all. So either not plugged in correctly or fans have gave up. Canny get into garage till next week so car will be parked up. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Its only been doing it now and then. I'll get it checked asap and keep an eye on it. Cheers Small update.... Coolant wasn't at max line before i started cold. Topped up. Still overheating when sittint idling. It makes a weird noise. Could be somthing to do with the thermostat? Will get it checked on monday.

So when sitting idling the fans seem to be kicking in alot earlier than before. Then when i move away the temp gauge shoots away up but then just comes back down to 90. And its then fine. I've recently had thermostat housing changed so fluid was also changed at the same time just over a month ago and the coolant light came on yesterday aswell and it needed maybe 100ml to get it to max. Any ideas? Cheers. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Aye a told them that before they started. She said she had read up about it and had the computer to do it. All seems to be working tbf. But she said any problems take it to a garage and bring us the bill[emoji23] Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Thanks i'll keep an eye on it. Another thing i forgot. I had a fault earlier in the week but the car was already running. Power steering fault. Tyre pressure fault. And about 3 others i can't remember what but once i drove all went away and haven't came back. I put it down to the heat. It's going in for waterpump and thermostat housing so i'll get it all checked while its in. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

I do have dashcams but i have battery monitor device fitted to cut them off if the battery gets low. I do leave the radio on alot till it cuts out with car switched off. Which is probably not a great idea. I never use stop start always switch it off. Booked in at 5 for a new battery at halfords so take it from there. Cheers Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

So as above came out too a flat battery. Jump started it drove fine and started fine for rest of the day. Came out this morning and couldn't even unlock the car. So jumped it and checked it with a multimetre and its sitting at 14.3 volts. Nothing left on so any ideas what to look for first. Or does this sound like just a bad battery? Cheers. Hi mate. I use to have an editon 30 before the r and i needed a new mechatronics due to it jerking in reverse and first gear. I took warranty out with warranty direct and due to age of the car they only covered 50% I sent it on a trailer to slaters garage in nottingham who recondition the mechatronics. I think it worked out about £700 so alot cheaper and i had the car for another 2 year after that and didnt have a problem. Hope this helps and you get it sorted. http://www.gearboxnottingham.co.uk

So driving up the motorway and a car in the inside lane hits a bit of cardboard and flings it my way. Knocked the lamp washer cover off and left a nice mark, the lamp washers haven't worked since. Any ideas what i should be looking for or how to fix it? Cheers Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk

Got a new bike and its a nightmare getting it in the back, it has this knock block stem. So handlebars on turn to a certain point which is annoying as can't even get it in my bike shed without taking wheel off. So on the look out for some roof bars now. Must say the full suspension makes a massive difference. PR's allover the place on strava. Sent from my SM-G973F using Tapatalk
