Hi mate I have a resonated milltek it doesnt drone and sounds good (I think) deep and sporty without sounding like a machine gun but a lot more to it than the standard system and looks great Not the best pic but you can get an idea 🙂

Who are you thinking of doing the upgrade? I went to VRS and I had the same concern as you..They told me to oil change every 5k and dsg / haldex/ full engine service every year for reliability

Hi mate just had my car serviced with new plugs and mine was doing the same..it turned out to be a cracked plug so even tho they've just been changed they could still be at fault

Having an APR stage 2 map with intercooler and downpipe upgrade this weekend..Will the dtm pedalbox be too much added o r should I sell it? Thoughts people please Cheers

Well..had the stage 2 done at VRS.. (Thanks Will and team [emoji106])Had to give it a little blast on the way back naturally after a quick munch to let the traffic calm lol...Jeez....felt like a combination of a rollercoaster and a speeded up film...'what sort of cheese was that?'...Awesome..Gonna put my pedalbox back on just to get rid of that initial deadness which is still there although much improved. I'm getting this done this weekend Apr stage 1/2 £853 Tcu tune (dsg remap) £650 Miltek Sports cat down pipe £515 from road runner / fitting £165 Turbo inlet pipe £175 Cold air intake £350 Airtec intercooler fitted £770 I will be eating only baked beans for the forseeable but I can't wait hopefully 400bhp 0-60 3.2 secs

Turns out it's a cracked plug and misaligned carrier...they're replacing the lot .. they also kerbed my alloy which they're fixing.. hmmm and these are 'super techs'..at least no arguments about admitting responsibility. Thanks for all your responses 👍

I also had the haldex oil changed...I asked them about the haldex pump filter being cleaned and they said that vw don't specify it needing to be done Yet we all know the state the pump gets into..they wanted £328 to clean the gauze..ridiculous Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Thanks guys for your help..car is misfiring now so calling breakdown out. There's no smoke and the car is boosting tho obviously not revving it so hopefully it's not turbo..I wonder if it could be a coil pack I understand they are a bit of a weak link..it's run perfect until bludy vw touched it [emoji53] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

just looking at worse case scenario..no smoke but another post on here a guy's (Jimmy R) car had the EPC light on, and went off on restarting same as mine turned out to be a failed turbo..hopefully not in my case 🙏
