Hi, reading this thread, i had a problem with my master key today. I've had to take the battery out of my spare key and use it in my master key and it now works. Strangely the old battery seems to work in the spare now as well. I also purchased a double pack of replacement duracell batteries from Tesco's and neither of those work, which is very odd. Cost was £5. Any recommendations on the best brand/ type of battery to use?

Thanks for the insight. No particular product in mind. The car will be parked in my driveway and will be a daily driver to some extent. I just want to keep it looking as good as possible for the best price.

Hi, I am getting some minor repairs made to my golf R bodywork. Following this would people recommend paying for a protective layer to be added to the car externally. If so, what would people recommend and estimated cost? I really don't want to spend more than 200-300 on something like the coating. The car colour is Lapiz Blue. Any thoughts or detailers you can recommend would be great. Im based in Epsom, Surrey Thanks in advance

the alloy wheels need a refurb, they are all scuffed and havent been done since new. Can anyone recommend a good place for alloy refurb and estimated price? thanks

Hi there I am a new member and picking up my Lapiz Blue 2015 R today. Its a private sale and needs a goo clean inside and out. Whats a reasonable price/ package to pay, and any companies people can recommend, that ideally do a home visit to Epsom, Surrey? Also the car as some scuffs to the bumper and a few very tiny dings in the body work that need rectifying. Any recommendations for this too? Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone Im picking up my Lapiz Blue 2015 R today! 35k miles from new, 1 owner with no modifications! Super pleased. Can anyone recommend a detail cleaning company I could use to give her a good clean. Also the bumper has a scuff on it and a few very minor dings in the body work. Any recommendations for getting this kind of thing sorted? Thanks
