Yes it is. I told them about the TPI. And the mastertech found it when i was at the dealers last monday, and as result they changed the modules today. Hopefully it,s resolved now 😀

Well i got mine back yesterday from the dealers after the 2:nd attempt to fix it. First time was only sw update. This time they replaced the paddles (VW technical support told them to do that based on the fault codes pulled) and updated the sw again. Surprise, surprise it did not fix the problem. Will contact the dealer again and hopefully they replaced the modules next time.

Maybe the way they handle it has changed, i have told the local VW dealer that handles this that there is a tpi,and given then the number found in tread.They were instructed to first perform the update to se if that solved the problem.

They just did the PV4 update, that what they where advised from VW technical support. They pulled some codes after the test drive. After contacting VW technical support again, they where told to replace the paddles, but that might the button/modules as the customer service rep i was in contact with did not have all the info, just notes from the technician.

I had the PV4 uppdate at the dealers regarding the paddle shifter issue. Did not solve the problem. The technician experienced the problem on the test drive after the uppdate. The girl at the service desk said VW technical has instructed them to change paddles on both sides of the steering wheel. Car is Build week 50, 2024. Location Sweden.
