Please help me decide, I very nearly pulled the trigger and ordered a set of gorgeous Bola B19 polished face alloy wheels, over a grands worth, I love the look of these and can’t find anything I prefer, however I’m reading some options online about Bola being poor quality being cast and not forged etc etc… A referb set of 2nd hand genuine Pretoria’s are around the same price, but much prefer the look of the B19’s What direction would you go in my position Oh and P.s the wheels must be silver/polished silver Thanks for input and opinions Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone got any idea what this symbol means ? It’s the one in the middle with the reverse arrow and the 1 beside it. I’ve just checked the handbook and can’t find anything Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve got a Poorboys DA, various different cutting pads, went for a very light one at first, however half way through my extension lead finally gave up the ghost, so need finished off the final top coat by hand. I used the Meguires Ultimate Paint Correction kit, it’s the first ever kit I’ve bought, but will be buying again for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So after a while of waiting for the time and weather, got round to using my DA for first time, did a few things wrong, mainly using it on car that’s very wet, but happy with result for my first ever attempt, practice makes perfect and learn from my mistakes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Never been a lover of the piano black trims, always seems to be a bugger with finger prints and dust. Found a set of GTi panels for sale, loads of how too videos on uTube. Lost the 4Motion logo on the cubby lid but I can live with that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for removing the PCV pipe ? Squeezed and released the retaining ring, but the connector still won’t shift, don’t really want to get too aggressive yet and break something if there’s an easier way Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks.. exactly what I was after Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks all, just I couldn’t work out how the pipe secured but from what you’ve said all sounds good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m thinking about upgrading the intake pipe on the R.. however I’m unsure what to get and it’s fitment. I’d like to go for one of these But my question is, the pipe doesn’t seem to have the mounting bracket to bolt to the turbo As shown here Anyone know how the intake attaches Thanks all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve got lots of swirl marks in my paint from drying after washing, I’ve just bought a Poorboys DA, it’s got a 5” backplate. Which pads does anyone recommend and what colours should I be using, I only want to remove the very light scratches in the top coat. Also any top tips for using a DA would be great, I’ve been told to keep the polishing pad damp and to just use the weight of the machine rather than press down on the paint. Hmm.. I’m going to stick my head above the parapet here and get shouted down in flames... but I read the hype about Aerotwins and bought a set, easy to fit etc, they drove me bonkers, I found the set I had juddered like crazy, bottom right hand corner, and wiper judder is a huge bug bear for me. I had them on for a few weeks before I binned them, went back to genuine VW blades, ok they’re about £40 a set and only last 12 months but I’ve found they don’t judder Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If a 69 plate it’s under warranty, don’t touch it, just let dealer fix it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m guessing you have an AA warranty cover in place on the car, many used car dealers use these. If you have, you’ll need to take your car into a garage that deals with AA aftermarket warranty, they will diagnose what’s already been diagnosed, (you could ask whoever did the service/MoT) get them to cost up the work and see if they’ll get AA warranty to pay, just remember they’re a different company to the roadside assistance people so you can’t call the breakdown service to pay for a thermostat. Items such as this are generally covered by warranty. As was previously mentioned, EA888 has a timing chain Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just had mine done last week with its 4 year service and MoT. Seems to have made the gear changes smoother, my independent said that the clutch packs were at the limit.. whatever that means ??? Cars got 21k on it I also got them to do a Haldex service and filter clean Expensive job but I think worth it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I find my puddle lights operate depending on the ambient light conditions. If it’s in a well lit car park, they won’t turn on until I open the door, however if it’s very dark outside, they turn on a second or so after the mirrors unfold Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Been great weather to get the car PTFE coat on before winter arrives Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Although I’m not sure I’m allowed to post this, as a huge fan of BTCC I’d like to share this.. Bobby Thompson had a huge crash on Sunday and is in need of help, I’ve given a little If this post breaks any rules the Mods can freely remove as no offence intended https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-bobby-thompson-rebuild-his-btcc-race-car?viewupdates=1&rcid=r01-160266270188-e44f6778fded4062&utm_medium=email&utm_source=customer&utm_campaign=p_email%2B1137-update-supporters-v5b Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m surprised you don’t get Tesco Momentum 99 or Shell V Power in NI.. would’ve thought they’d all sell the same in the United Kingdom. However, for the usual run of the mill commute miles I generally do, I admit to running mine on 95, only now and again on 99 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I seem to remember reading that VW are putting / have put the ‘R’ power train in the T Roc so 300ps in a sensible sized SUV Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pro tyre are doing the Goodyear at a reasonable price.. but I’ve always been a fan of Uniroyals if you want to go down the mid price route Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I eventually managed to get through to a human being, they’ve confirmed to me my finance is cleared and my online VW account shows I owe them nothing so looks as though my £14k arrived with them.. If you do want to speak a person, you must select option 5 but be prepared for a long wait on hold Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
