Yes, I always found them to be good, but haven’t used them since 2020 when the old R went. I may just give them a try again for the first service when it comes and see how it goes.

Thanks @Booth11 I previously used JCB Medway for my mk7.5 R and not sure whether or not to stick with them or try someone else. Canterbury is only 25 mins further for me

If you don’t mind me asking, which dealer do you use for servicing etc.? I’m still trying to determine who to trust with my car

Evening all, just to let you know that the fronts are currently reduced on Amazon to £17.58 for the next 3-4 hours

I’ve ordered a set of these from Cox, pretty competitive prices from them with 10% off, thanks everyone 👍

Thanks @Jay Psi I’ll have a look at those

I want to get a set of rubber floor mats to protect the interior carpets. Can anyone recommend a set that are available in the UK please? I’m not sure if the estate takes the same size mats as the hatch? Thanks in advance 👍

I seem to have a thing for estates 😂 this is my 2nd R estate, also had 5 other estate cars over the years! I’m not a detailer unfortunately, I struggle with the basics of the two bucket method 😅

Only currently available from stock apparently, maybe waiting for the MY26 cars before taking more orders?

Thanks @Booth11 @Jay Psi I did consider the Warnenaus but don’t want 19s really, and I actually quite like the look of the Jerez. Now the struggle to keep it clean 😊

Nice and clean after detailing…

Well I finally collected my car yesterday 🤗 It rained for the first 2 hours driving back, so it’s filthy, but going to be detailed this week, I’ll post a few pics up afterwards. There’s a lot of tech to get used to compared to my previous 7.5 R estate and current 330D touring, but first impressions are positive, it feels planted on the road and looks great in Lapiz 😍

I’ve got my collection booked for next Saturday 🥳 Then a slow(ish) drive home and booked in for full detail and ceramic coating the following week - then come the pics ☺️

I’m waiting to be told I can collect my car, it’s arrived at the port anyway 👍

Thanks, I’ll give whatever it comes with a chance and may end up swapping them for something better

What Bridgestones are the new cars coming with that are a problem? I’m intending to run whatever mine comes with until they need replacing 🙃 (or until I change the wheels 😇)

Nothing strange… Lapiz estate DCC Pan roof Winter pack Curtain/side airbags HK audio 🤔

Nice spec 👍 I had the same build week (24) but for some reason it got pushed back again, at least they’re on the way now ☺️

I’ve just heard from the dealer that my car left the factory yesterday, so should be available to collect early September 💪

My unconfirmed build date moved about a lot until I finally got a confirmed build from the dealer in mid-June. I was initially told week 20, which was pushed back to week 44, then gradually came forwards until I got a confirmed build date of week 28…which is next week! 🙃 Just got the email from VW as well confirming build is next week. I had to extend my current lease and, as at the time I was expecting week 37 build, I’m going to end up with a 3-month overlap 😭

My build week has just (provisionally) been pushed from week 20 to week 44 😭

Thanks mate, order placed 9th Jan but I asked to not have the car before June, should be here mid-end June hopefully

I’ve got a build week now 💪 Status code 10 so not confirmed, week 20 Lapiz estate DCC Pan roof Winter pack Curtain/side airbags HK audio

Just to add that I went to JCB in Medway and was very happy with the service there. Nice big dealership, friendly staff, free tea and coffee while you wait I will be using them for future services and any other work necessary.

Evening all, my car is due its first service, only an oil and filter change as far as I can see. Can anyone recommend a main dealer in the Bromley/Kent area please? Thanks, Steve
