They can't control what happens to the car after it leaves the factory so they aren't going to offer extended warranty after it is out of their care. They wont do anything to improve the quality control, its German, I'm not sure they know how to do sub par quality control.

Non of the packages above, the cornering lights are standard on the 7.5, you still need to dip your headlights for on coming cars I'm afraid (i hope you where already anyway )

Driving out of Watford on Friday all the main roads where chaos from the sudden snow fall. It took me half an hour to move a mile! In the end i decided to turn around and take the country lanes rather than sit in traffic. No one seemed to have the same idea and when faced with the seriously steep icy hills i suddenly remembered why 😂 I don't think the car got the memo because when driving up them if i couldn't see the white stuff in front of me i would have thought it was a beautiful summers day. The irony of all this is that i told my Mrs i needed to have the golf R over the GTI or an A Class because of the 4wd and the fact i often commute down lanes 😅 funny how these things work out. my journey went from a potential 3 hours to 45mins! "its nothing to do with the 310BHP darling, that's just a bonus" 😜

Golf R Mk7 Cloth seats where awful, the light colour was horrible. 7.5 cloth is much better going back to black, i would have spent 1.5K on a leather option for the MK7 but not the 7.5 and it would only be to ger rid of the cream! like others have said, cold in winter, hot and sticky in summer! don't get it.

Just ordered an SD card to add my music so i have a full library in the car all the time. anyone done this? does anyone know the file format needed to make sure it works any info about weather its easy to navigate through etc would also be cool
