    Sorry I've been a bit absent since the delivery of my R - some nightmare scenarios with some orders which i feel bad for. But i am seeing a lot more R's on the road nowadays. Either stick in there if you can.. its a cracker of a car - 3 months in with 4k miles on the clock and its awesome!

    i got it without the HK and its perfectly fine - and i believe i am an audiophile! Not sure what can be improved above the standard setup, maybe a few extra speakers here and there but the standard is great.

    Just to divert from all the hoo haa.. ive had the car a whole week now and its amaze balls!! So much power and so much fun to drive!!

    another question for me - whilst doing the school run, i hear my front breaks squeaking. Anybody else experience this whilst the car "breaks" in? if not i`ll need to visit VW.

    This car is very much like gaming on a console nowadays - cant do such a such until you can complete such a such a level or bought this additional addon!

    Is there anyway to prevent the car starting up in sport mode - would prefer it to start in comfort mode so the wife doesnt get scared of it?

    Three days in and im loving it .. not sure what all the hate was with the infotainment system as its really nice and intuitive. One small gripe is allowing for the lane assist to stay automatically off.. its very off putting to say the least.

    to be honest, i would have been happy to just get the car without the mats. Roll on 8th of June!

    8th June.. flying out on holiday next Thursday and arriving back 7th June… feels like Xmas has come early!

    Thanks guys - ill take a read. My delivery date has been confirmed and my annual leave booked in the diary. Insurance all paid for (£535) and service plan all sorted. Just need to sort out my private number plate now.

    Things are definitely moving fast with my delivery.. finance documents have been received and sent back and now also have a registration plate too.. seems to be finally happening.

    Thats about right I think.. mine was week 12 and is now on its way so around 4-6 weeks behind.

    So I have had an update - We have movement. I have been informed that the car is in transit and will be with the dealer on the 3rd of June 2022 - 15 months after order. Will be a nice surprise after coming back from holiday.
