There is a way to stop the emergency braking when reversing. Press the park assist button (bottom left of the 4 touch buttons) Press the gear icon to go into settings Deselect emergency braking when reversing. Job done and you can now reverse you car without the car emergency braking, messing yourself thinking you have hit something. Its just another function i have to disable every time i go out in the car.

Right, somi have finally gotten to the bottom of the issue with the clicking ticking noise. It turns out that the holes in the drilled disks have got blocked. Got it all cleaned out and the noise has totally gone. Hopefully this may give others hope if they get the annoyance of the clicking ticking noise 😃

Its exactly as you say, i can only really hear it with the window down and when im driving past something that will reflect the sound. Its going in for an MOT soon so will get them to have a look over it.

I was searching for wheel clicking on my mk8 and came across this. So is the wheel clicking noise anthing on mk8's? Any idea what it is and how to fix it as its driving me mad.

Only had my 8R for 5 days so still working it all out. I dont have the performance pack, so just wondering if the exhaust valves only open in race mode or can i get them open in individual mode.
