Apologies if this has been covered, but I’ve noticed that the normal silencer isn't there on the exhaust. The only thing I can think of is it helps with sound because of the OPF 🤷🏼‍♂️. However, does anyone know if the exhaust is valved? When it’s in Sport+, it sounds so much better?

All good, mate. The 12.5mm looks pretty dialed in, to be honest. I wasn't really sure if I was going to lower it just now, so I wish I had gone 15mm, maybe even 20 🙈. 12.5mm with lowering it to, say, 20mm will be perfect, mate.

If you hit the paddles by mistake mate it'll put it into manual...if you pull on + (OFF) for a second it'll go back into auto ✌🏼

Genuinely gutted to hear this mate! It’s just not fair the lengths some need to go to protect our hard-earned property. I had drama two years ago. I was lucky enough to be one of the first in the uk to get a BMW M240i. I got the car in March 2022 and loved it. I went to Vegas with the wife in September. 3 days in, I go to the hotel room for more cash and the ring doorbell goes… I’m just being nosey, I checked my phone, and two f🤬🤬kin parasites are trying to get into the house! My mum and the kids were in bed. I’ve never had this experience, so panicking doesn't really cover it. So I start shouting through the ring doorbell cam, and they take off! Without going into specifics, a phone call was made and 4 police cars and 2 vans were there in just under 9 minutes...Mum and kids at this point still had no clue until the police entered the house. They were trying to clone the keys. You could see one at the letterbox fiddling with something. However, I keep my keys in a Faraday cage box so no signal in or out. In this case, that's what saved my car. However, for me, the car was ruined! I spent half a day in the hotel room trying to sell it 🤷🏼‍♂️… I didn’t want it! Anyway, there was no way there was coming back after the initial attempt. was done with fancy cars. After a little time, mates basically changed my mind: you can't go through life not having nice things. Forensics came out, did their job, then gave some advice... 1. Get an alarm 2. Get lots of downlight, etc 3. keys in a Faraday cage box There are 2-3 types of criminals...1. is the chancer. The downlight and alarm are enough to deter them. 2. is the little more ballsy. They’ll get in fully knowing they have 10-20 sec before the alarm starts singing (looking for keys in a bowl). These bellends normally run in 3s: two to bump the car and one to follow. Or the 3rd in a car to get away when it goes tits up. 3. Full-on Proper Organized Firm, they know about the lights/ring door bell/alarm and they will calmly walk in armed and take what they want— end of!! So just give it to them as they are wired differently. The ring door bell is hugely important as it has a motion sensor...forget the camera as they really don't give a fcuk, however, it’s an early warning system for you! Not bulletproof, but the few precious moments are everything! I I have the two videos of these bellends but for some reason I can't upload them. It says they’re too big, and I have no idea how to get them on. If anyone really wants to see them, then talk me through how to get them up, or I’ll email them to you. 🤣 Don’t think I’ve ever written an email/report this long. Michelin PS 4S for me all the way. Can’t see past them tbh. Had a few high-performance cars, and all the confidence came from the Pilots. The Bridgestones are okay, but I’d have the Michelins if there were a choice. I know nothing about the CS C7 tbh, but would appreciate some feedback from those who are running them just now...

Just fitted the Maxton rear spoiler lip. Always liked the DuckTale effect, not for everyone, but I think it suits the car.

Mate, that looks cracking! What’s the cost of that setup? Are there any noticeable gains? Also, don't put 10mm spacers on as they’re not big enough. I’ve got 12.5mm all round and going with 20mm rear and 15mm front. I could do a short video of what the 12.5 mm all round looks like too, to try and give you an idea.

Yea your bang on there Rebecca, been playing with it all day (1/2 tank) 🤣. long hold defiantly has a slight delay but not all the time, so a couple of times I'm long pressing and gassing it at the same time....car doesn't like it, as if there is a hesitation 🤷🏼‍♂️. If you know your gonna nail it a sec or two before the transition then its smooth purely due too anticipation. Just nitpicking, the car is sooo good playing around with it

So far I think, pressing the R button just pulls the menu up and a double press will cycle to the next mode from what you’re already on. I’ll try a long press today 😂 worth a go. Thanks for your feedback back mate it’s much appreciated! However I wouldn’t be very confident in going that root, bricking the model has put the fear into me 😂

Can you just buy these from the dealer mate? Did you fit them?

Not sure if this has been covered so apologies in advance. So, can the “R” button on the steering wheel be configured/coded to go straight to Special mode with I single push?

Car looks clean with that mileage, you must properly look after it mate. I do fancy a map, I might wait a few months, maybe this time next year or end of the year. I’ve really no idea where to start to be honest 😂

I take I the dangers of loosing your warranty with a map are big then? I’ve never had a map in any of my cars but would look into it

Got a few simple shots of the mods for anyone to have a look, started a thread so this one isn't getting hammered with different subjects.

So, picked my BE up on Sat. Went in for 12.5mm spacers and side skirts on Mon. Struggled to get proper pictures, lighting/location etc. Had the school run too 😂, I'll get better ones up when I've more time. Hope this gives some perspective if anyone is thinking about a little tweek.
