Thank you - yes I’m in the uk. Id go for some vw alloys if I’m honest. I got told a story of aftermarket rims upsetting wheel/suspension settings. I’m just not sure whether I can squeeze anything not listed on r spec list over the disks. It sounds like there isn’t any go to winter rim!

Does anybody know what the smallest wheels I can get on my 8.5r are? I’m looking for a nice comfy set of winter tyres. I will get quite the eye roll from the wife if the 4x4 component can’t be leveraged with a bit of snow come winter. currently on warmenaus

Yesterday morning I was passing a row of parked cars, facing towards me at ~45mph and the emergency brakes locked up! Asides from the parked cars the road was empty! o_0

Im runnung 19" Warmenau on my 8.5 BE w dcs I clench my teeth on every pot hole and will be getting a second set of wheels and larger profile tyres for winter. I have had issues with active suspension and aftermarket wheels before so trying to find a set of brand wheels that dont have elastic bands for tyres. I did a search, does anybody have any expertise/ suggestions for some winter wheels that can take staple british pot holes. Im not sure the jerez offer me much more cushioning but never seen them in the flesh!

Im sure im being an idiot but I just cant get back to what I had! I has something like the top screen with a dial on left/right of the car in the middle. Those dials were mph or rpm. Restart didnt fix my dash. The next view is a vw map and the one after is the rev counter in the middle which wasn't what I had either! Its odd the rev counter dial doesnt show speed outside of at the bottom.

Thanks for your curiosity-It sounds like when you get a book and flip through the edges of the pages - brrrrrrr Noise is only there when cooling seats are on and I can imagine its coming from the seat. Today the speedo and rev dials all went blank! I had space on the digital speedo at the top where it should be but the two dials below was just blank space! HuD worked fine. Hoping it fixes itself with a reignition.

Searched mpg and ended up here... Does it typically improve as we run in? im getting 22mpg on my 5 mile commute each day, I average 26mph and there is little stop start. Im actually shocked how poor it is. Im in eco mode and coasting part of it! Looking at my trip from collection that was motorways most of the way 197miles. 33.2mpg and a speed of 49mph. Is this my life now or is it possible somethings wrong? Thanks!

Heya picked up my car on monday after full ppf from upstream detail who Id definitely recommend - great service, price and fitting around me travelling back up from Surrey for second time in a week to collect the car after detailing. the car makes an annoying noise or buzz like paper flapping - is this normal?

Thanks and i agree. I park in a bush at the train station each do so likely will go ahead. But the 5k+ cost is significant, extrapolating the original post I'd expect you could get your car ppf nearer 3k which is a no brainer. 6k including ceramic coating of wheels was my last quote

This is great. What are people paying? My 911 was 7k with ceramic coating and golf quotes have come in at 5. Thats a lot of paint work repair jobs.

Congratulations! I ordered 26aug and haven't had a build week yet. They also removed the no cost option r style skirts and bumper from my order. Seems we will never know what these are! Are you ordering a set of winter tyres and rims?

Morning - no there isn't and they are conscious of their website not listing everything. Give them a call once you have a quote id and they'll adapt it for you.
