Hey guys, I'm planning to do a swap of said engine and gearbox (EA888 gen 3 of the golf MK7/MK7.5), I need the envelope measurements of the engine and both gearboxes to model the final fitment first before starting to work on it, height lenght width. Thanks. -

Hi all I have a set of 19" OEM Pretoria black alloy wheels on my car which I would like to swap for OEM Pretoria hyper silver wheels. (Mine only 2 scuff marks but I have wheel insurance so I will get repaired before swapping) If there is anyone out there who would be interested in an exchange to these with OEM Pretoria hyper silver alloys I would be very interested. There is a garage next to my house so we can get our tyres swapped over. Thanks

Hi there, I've seen a lot of talk on the forum about the Mk 7 Golf R not being supplied with protective door sills and folks having to order aftermarket sills from Lookwood etc. I currently have a Scirocco R which is fitted with OEM Stainless Sills with R logo, which really look the part and provide great protection... I'm waiting for my new build Golf R to arrive and was wondering if i was to remove the sill protectors from my Scirocco, would these be easily transferable to/ fit the new Golf.......? I figure that as i'm trading in the Scirocco i might as well salvage what i can... and if this transfer is feasible, i'm sure VW (if they even notice) can replace the Scirocco sills prior to resale. If anyone can advise if these will match the new build that would be great, and any advise on the best adhesive for fitting these it would be much appreciated. Cheers again, Matty
