I am in need of a new front wheel bearing as mine is damaged presumably by a pothole! M R has only covered 26k VW are quoting around £240 for an OEM bearing (without labour) but looking online there are too many different brands out there and I cannot find the OEM specs to compare, does anybody know the OEM manufacturer or has used a specific brand? Here are some below FAG seems to be the most expensive but Bilstein also have one for a similar price, eurocarparts also have a FAG one for £185 so im stumped. https://www.buycarparts.co.uk/vw/golf-vii-5g1-be1/100075/10679/wheel-bearing?criteria[100]=VA

Hi Guys, I'm about to change the Haldex oil in my car- and I'm looking for the replacement fill/drain plugs and a few other bits. Most internet searches are coming up with US sites or ridiculous shipping charges. Can anyone recommend some place that's good for these kinds of items in the UK/Europe 1- Haldex fluid 850ml: G-060-175-A2 (x1)2- Drain plug: N-910-827-01 (x1)3- Fill Plug: N-902-818-02 (x1) 4- Pump o-rings and bolts kit 0CQ-598-305 : Thanks, Dan

Hi all, After a couple of OEM parts (parts that came on the car originally, not anything unusual) for my 15 R. Was hoping to be able to avoid some of the main dealer park up! ;-) Have searched on here and also with Google but can't find anywhere that seems to list anything for mk7 R. Most sites, eg. http://vwgenuineparts.co.uk just list older cars, generally up to mk6. Example part I need - offside rear outer taillight - £181 from VW (incl. VAT). Thanks very much in advance to anyone who can suggest anywhere. Toby
