I have flashed the latest 2.01 file and seems like it’s a lot better, will need some more driving time, but on a quick drive all seems good

Im guessing this fixed the launch control issue for you ?

I flashed the 2.01 file and there was no change to mine :(  Did you completely remove and then reinstall the handset to your car or did you simply just change to the 2.01 file ?

Not tested launch yet, I removed completely and reinstalled, hopefully will get to test it out more tomorrow

Did mine yesterday. Updated the map file with the 2.01 one they provided - still got hesitation going into R from D.

Uninstalled the AccessPort completely and reinstalled - still got hesitation going from D to R.

Tried to cue up a Launch earlier and it sounded pretty wrong.

🤕

Yeah went for a drive today, had the hesitation pulling away at a round about, far from ideal, also get the delay when reversing, will email mountune again

Im honestly baffled over the clear lack of communication between Mountune and Cobb.

Why are we being told that this is a fix when it doesn't seem to have helped with anyone's issues.

This is getting ridiculous with how long its taken and we still dont have a solution. + Considering Mountunes stage 1 is being sold at a premium price compared to the others available. At this point id rather just get my money back and move on.

Ive emailed them again but im just expecting another few weeks of not hearing any response.

Thanks for keeping this thread active with ur guys progress, its good to know where we all stand 👍

Just e-mailed them asking for some detail on what Cobb think they've fixed. Seeming more and more suss to me that the release notes for both firmwares that were supposedly going to fix this problem don't actually mention it. Maybe Cobb are just crap at release notes, but it almost seems at this point like Mountune are just *hoping* the next firmware will fix it.

Excited to hear what was in everyone's personally tailored reply. 🙃

Take it you've all heard nought too? 🙄

Ive still not had a response back from mountune and im guessing they are just waiting until cobb gives them another file to play with 😒

  • 4 weeks later...

Last update I had from them was as follows

Sorry for the delay, we have been on our extended Christmas break since December 17th so only just seen your email.

Thank you for making us aware of this, we have reported back to Cobb with your feedback and will see what the outcome is. This is very frustrating for us as we imagine it is for yourself so thank you for your patience on this.

Once we have an update we will come back to you we apologies for any inconvenience this is causing.

Ive just submitted a returns request for the Stage 1 power upgrade kit. They only give you a tiny box to write out the issue so i can imagine this wont go through without a lot of back and forth.

Also having already used the upgrade on my car will most likely cause issues with trying to get money back.

Has anyone got any experience with getting a refund for this sorta thing ?
