Fuffy
My R MK7 has developed a problem with the warning lights over the past week. I hit a pothole about 10 days ago which triggered a warning light snowstorm . I stopped and tried to reset by turning the engine off . But nothing. I carried on driving all the way home ( about 80 miles) and the car drives perfectly .No vibrations and no visible damage to the wheel or tyre. At home i disconnected the battery and re-set the tyre pressures which seemed to solve the problem for a while. However now i start the car and drive for about 5 minutes and then the lights come back on ( about 4 faults showing up) anyone else have this problem? possible solutions anyone ? Deano
Wheel speed sensor a likely culprit. Might just be loose from the impact

Have you had a similar thing happen , or have you known this happen to other? Pretty sure I read a thread on here with an almost identical presentation to yours. The OP eventually found the wheel sensor to be the culprit. Good luck 🤞🏻

Not happened to me personally, but I’ve been on this forum for some time and it’s quite a common issue. The wheel speed sensor is used for pretty much everything on the car (ABS, Traction Control, Cruise control etc) that’s why your dash will be lit up like a xmas tree. Another thing that can cause all these errors at once is a low battery, but due to the circumstances around when yours occurred (hitting pothole) then probably the wheel speed sensor also known as ABS sensor. gregozedobe
It might be worth checking the wiring/connection to the wheel sensor as well. I've read of the electrical connector (in the wheel arch) coming partially undone after a bad pothole. Deano
