doesn't look that bad. I would just fix the single wheel and leave the color alone.

you can order prets in different colors or did you get this done 3rd party I'm in the US so I can't go to a dealer to find out

I'm contemplating this as well. in my last car I had Tein coilovers that had EDFC, which allows you to adjust the ride stiffness. it was a huge difference.... I'm not sure I'm going to though. bc I don't plan on lowering my car.....but I am 100% getting the 19" prets 235/35-19 is a very thin wall tire...and the ride could possibly be harsh. for me, it will be determined how much it will cost. I'm expecting the prets to be $1500 USD. I'd pay $500 USD for DCC, but if it's more than that, it's a deal breaker for me

I'm planning on a manual so hopefully I won't get hesitation in other forums (I used to be really into cars), I've seen users who keep track of common issues, even forming online petitions for known issues. this was the case with the US spec honda civic si. also, forums would be a great place to make "sticky" threads with official recalls or technical service bulletins as we call it in the states. you know what is a problem with VW?? THE GOLF R ISNT IN THE US YET!!!!!

so I'm new to VW, just curious to see if any of you have had issues so far with the mk7r. also, is there any common issues that I should watch out for, in terms of vw? for instance, my last two Hondas had tranny problems. my civic si has an issue where it is difficult to get into third gear. (and UK gets the type R, we are jealous here in the states)

Dont be sorry. Its the colour that best shows off the great lines and tints. It a bugger to keep looking good though. My cleaning bills are on the rise!!! my last two cars were white so I know what u mean! did you get oryx or pure white? I was going to message you but I can't bc I just registered did you end up with pretorias? I'd love to see ur pics if you could upload it here or email me. US is a 2015 release.....so far away...
