  1. Nige, Do you do a full system for the R with just the single exhaust tip either side (similar to the GTI) instead of the 4? Always thought 4 was OTT for a golf!
  2. The only time I ever get people goading me is usually older blokes in family cars now. Just wanting to see what it can do/sounds like (being slightly modded) I went through a good 1.5 years of idiots trying it on all the time, usually Vauxhall drivers actually, Zafira's and Vectras! Saying that though an RS250 shot up my arse on the way to work this morning but after I stayed true he turned off left and probably went to work himself
  3. Think its ugly as sin. According to a few reviews seems a bit lacklustre too? wouldn't turn my nose up at one for free mind =D
  4. This was circa 3 years ago now probably have a different type, but pretty much any MPV cover will do!
  5. Think my remedy is slightly cheaper and convenient. I bought a dog cover for a Touran (Seats folded) from Halfords. can clip them round the outer headrest pins of driver and passenger to keep it hitched up too. Wipes up with baby wipes and ready to use again!
  6. That Archie Hamilton has to be one of the most annoying people I've ever witnessed. Cannot stand these motor youtube channels at the moment, when they first came on the scene I was sucked in by the new car content but its absolutely appalling how they go about painting a perception of themselves through false truths. They're financed through the teeth. Be interesting to see where those without family money behind them are in 5-10 years time. TTRS is a properly nice car, sounds intense too! Would love to have a drive of that engine!
  7. Reckon you're in for more of a shock than you think when you change over. My mate runs almost identical to you and was left for dead when my car was standard, rolling was less of a lead but still wouldn't keep up. Perhaps you've run against someone not quite in the mood? Are you going DSG? I have a manual and from a wallet point of view, would of been cheaper for me to go DSG should you (Assumingly) head down the tuning route. FYI - Roughly £3600 on my car for st2 (Including uprated clutch). Approx >400bhp/420lbs/ft For sale if you know anyone
  8. Have a similar issue when giving it beans on occasion, seems to be easily missed as opposed to previous cars I have driven. Glad to know its not just me being an rookie
  9. Why 3 exhausts.... and why 2 different sizes?!?! Hideous!
  10. Kia Stinger. Genuinely tempted by one. Have to wait and see what it drives like I suppose!
  11. Have it turned off yeah, but starting the car and moving off its spongy on the steering, engage rm and its stiff again, doesn't bother me much anywho!
  12. Must be a bad batch for me, because without fail its loose on start-up
  13. I often think my R differs from most. A lot of people complain that theirs sound poor and tinny, yet I can only say the direct opposite. Granted I drive in Race all the time, and reselecting it every time I start up (mainly for the stiffer steering) but from the drivers seat (With sound actuator turned completely off) I experience a deep grumble, whines higher up the rev range and coughs and burps when I let off acceleration quickly. Same from the outside. Had a few colleagues complement the noise as I pull into the car park!
