It's weird If I wipe the screen when it's not raining it doesn't hit but when it's raining moderately they hit say 3 of out of 5 wipes and it's quite a load thud which is disconcerting. Sent from my SM-S918B using Tapatalk

Does anyone know if theres a way to fix the bosch wipers hitting the pillar without having to go to dealer, im sick of that place. The one that hits seems to judder like mad as well, It's the first time I've upgraded to bosch and it's been a pain in the ass.

Your car looks ridiculously clean, the paint looks like glass. I washed my car today, I was happy with it until I saw this. 😂

By the way i looked in the boot finally and I have got the boot mat and shades, it's a Black edition, has anyone noticed a trend like it's on only Black Editions? I guess it doesn't really matter I'm just curious.

Your car looks great Rebecca, sorry if you've mentioned this somewhere but are the bosch wipers the same as MK8? I assume so? And when fitting the dead pedal does it cause any damage to the existing pedal or do you swap them out?

I must admit if I could have chosen any colour I would have liked a Tornado Red Black Edition.

Thanks I couldn't justify the cost of Performance Pack on my MK8 so I've wanted the spoiler since I specced that in 2021 so I'm really happy the BE comes with Performace Pack. 👍🏻

Thanks I'm pleased with the result. It looks like a piece of paint sticking up but at the base the paint looks melted. See pic attached. I did think the buckets were pricey but they are top quality and the guards are amazing I had the cheap crap ones that keep falling apart before.

Update: after a mammoth polishing and cleaning session, I didn't manage to get everything I wanted done but it still looks stunning, I had a lot of positive remarks from my neighbours including the obligatory " you can do mine if you want". Sadly I found what I think is an imperfection in the paint on the roof, and a scratch on the gloss black diffuser so ive sent an email with pics also included the driver seat bolster indentations to see what they have to say. I hope you guys are enjoying your cars. 😊 P.S. thanks for the recommendation of the carbon collective buckets @Booth11 they are great!

No problem, I think must just be how the are would be interesting if other BE owners could confirm. I hadn't noticed tbh as I only got it Tuesday and I've hardly driven it.

Same on my 8.5R BE, that is the drivers side, it's not like it on passenger side.

It's here and on time! I'm really happy with the colour and wheel choice, the guy unloading it had lots of comments about how nice it was he had to keep telling people it wasn't his. 🤣 More photos to come once I've spent hours cleaning it at the weekend.

Well that's the MK8 gone, feel quite gutted, best car ive owned only problems were the steering wheels faults, roll on Tuesday for the 8.5

My lapiz black edition has been confirmed for delivery on the 21st I'm so excited, especially after seeing how great your car looks as mine is the same wheels paint etc.

Can someone help me out with recommendations for buckets and grit guards please? I have been getting by with 2 crappy buckets and 2 crappy gritguards that Fall apart when you lift them out ( I've lost one of the inserts now 😬).

I havent test driven a car since my MK5 R32 🤣 4 x golf R's later I know what to expect within reason, only issues with the mk8 were 2 new steering wheels (due to the dreaded assist bongs) and the temp sliders not being back lit.
