Hi guys, No doubt this has been asked a lot but wanted some advice from owners who have remapped their R's and are on PCP finance. Is there any knock on effect to the PCP finance agreement? I've heard all matter of stories about VW demanding all outstanding payments or seizing the vehicle?! Any truth to these?! I suspect the ECU warranty will be void and servicing may be tricky if VW's system flags up the remap but is there any way of detecting the modification if the ECU is flashed back to stock? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated, wealth of knowledge out there I'm sure! Looking at APR Stage 1 (High output) with the DSG upgrade.

I have an order number - that was one of the first things they gave me. Sadly, since that point I've heard very little from my dealer! Not only that, but since placing the order in February, whenever I track my order it has always said, stage 2 - with the factory and being scheduled for production.

Hi guys, This is my first time posting on the forum so apologies if this is in the wrong section! Been checking out the members rides page for a while now so thought it was about time I signed up! I placed an order for a Pure White, 3 door, DSG Golf R back in February of this year - the only other extras I added were 19" Pretorias and the ProNav. Since that time I have had no movement on the order tracker (still at stage 2) and my dealer has been less than helpful to say the least. Whenever I call they tell me that there is another delay on my order - they have never given an exact reason but I'm told it is 'most likely the alloys because all other cars with standard 18" Cadiz alloys are coming through fine' Has anyone else experienced this? I've looked at the thread with all the Golf R orders and most seem to be delivered around the 6 month mark. I'm being told by my dealer I'll be lucky to get mine by October/November (9 month wait)!! Any information would be great, thanks!
