Has anyone managed to change the lowering springs and willing to share a guide, tutorial or video they followed? I'm quite hands on mechanically with cars but need a guide to follow for correct torque specs etc Kindly let me know, thanks!

Thanks and would you say 15m is enough to go around the car with? I hate having to track back to get over to the other side. So for this reason I was looking at 20m. Direct hoses are a fair price so I'll be ordering from them. Thank you.

Thanks I did come across qwashers but their prices are extortionate! Can't stomach paying £70 for a hose!! I'd rather live with the kinks 🤣 I'll check out directhoses, thank you

Has anyone replaced the original hose that comes with the Nilfisk C125.7 or similar models? The hose kinks constantly and in general feels cheap. Ideally after a 20M hose but good quality to compliment a swivel quick release gun. Thanks

Same issue here. It's annoying and had similar on my 7R where VW replaced the top mounts under warranty. Suspect it's the same on the 8R

It does, you detach the standard spoiler entirely and fit the new peice. Been done in America and also by TR Hamza on his MK8 R on YouTube.

Ooo they look nice! Let me know how they are please, I'd probably grab a set for the tough mechanical jobs to see how they hold up. The textile gloves I use are horrible to use in the summer but lovely for winter days 😊

I've seen those options you've mentioned and shop-dap's fitting video. TR Hamza on YouTube paid roughly £1300ish shipped from America. I can't stand the aftermarket fitment hence why I'm after the genuine piece. Reminds me of the shocking Oettinger reps 🤮 I was hoping VW would've dropped the price by now but I'm not surprised at the same time.

Have you tried contacting MSS https://instagram.com/mssautomotive?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= I'm running their MSS Track kit and it's insane! Huge difference over the stock springs it's quite unbelievable how it does what it does. Improved the looks overall and it darts effortlessly round B roads.

From my understanding I believe you can only transfer it to a business owner not a private customer. However I might be wrong, as I remembered looking at doing the same years ago. -

How is it done on the MK8 R? I found a screw similar to the one the 7R had to raise the level but it did nothing on the 8R Thanks
