  1. Kept seeing on Facebook and instagram these different instant drying towels so I gave the Autoglym one a go. Well worth the money and about 5 minutes to dry the whole car Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I’ve use magic erasers and that does the job. Just don’t go mad with it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. On my T5 California i've been using the uniroyal rainsport 3 and they've been fine. A few people I know with hot hatches have been running GT Radial sportactive tyres. R & D now in Germany and against the Kuhmo, Toyo and a few other mid range brands they came out on top. For the money they are pretty good from what I have seen

  5. I really thought he would tell me to jog on lol. My wife at first didn't want me to change and she made me the list and said I bet he won't go for it. Then when the contract turned we where both saying 'holy crap, how the hell did that happen' I just hope I can do a Van Dijk and not a Phil Countinho 🤣
  6. Yeah its the same company been chasing me. They said what will it take to get you here? I said I do not want to be working weekends, 10 am start weekdays, No probation period and I want the same wage you offered, Plus on Thurs I need to finish early due to family commitments. As he's a big Liverpool fan I said you want Vigil Van Dijk you'll have to pay for him. He laughed and said done, Contract got signed done and dusted. I gave my boss 1 last go before I did switch teams. But he refused to put it in writing that he was giving me the shop and said that I might have to wait a bit longer before he could give it to me. So I told him i'm not hanging around bye
  7. My boss got a bit awkward with me last night saying I used all my holiday up. I said you need to check your calendar and to be fair there was 3 days I took in Jan you forgot to note down which I could of kept quiet about but i'm being honest and reminding you of them. Came in this morning and he's changed his tune and said i'll pay you for those 4 days you have left. Needs to get his act together because no replacement has been organised and he has no clue of the day to day running of his own shop. Even customers i'm telling are saying WTF are we going to do when your gone
  8. What a bunch of CU Next Tues. Sure they weren't vandals? Gutted for you. What a nightmare
  9. Looking at it I’m owed 5 days for working 10 months this year. A mate of mine said if my boss says leave at the end of month he still has to pay me up to the 15th of Nov as I’ve given him 4 weeks notice. Apparently he can’t just go leave at the end of this month and expect to just pay me for that month. So either way he has to pay me for those couple weeks in Nov. My boss should of just kept quiet. I’ve been feeling guilty for going but b***ocks to him. Broken promises and going back on our original agreement if I stayed to work for him. The new place have bent over backwards to get me so I’ll go where I’m wanted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks guys. At least I know I’m covered. So much for a pat on the back for loyal service. Loyalty is dead Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. That’s good. Got the emails still over the years saying as and when I was off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. So either way he owes me money. Just my sister was a bit worried nothing is in writing but I thought at the end of the day I have rights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Not sure how to sort this as I’ve never had to do it before and I’ve been in my current job 18 years. I don’t have a written contract not since I first started all those years ago and never really had an issue until now. So I verbally told my boss a week ago I’m leaving for another job which he didn’t take much notice. So it was suggested to me because of my length of service and nothing in writing I give him a proper letter which I did today stating I’ll be leaving Nov 15th. He read it and said I’ll probably need you gone by the end of this month because of the accounts and money etc. I said I can’t afford to do that so you and your accountant figure it out!!! And I walked out. It’s annoying me his whole attitude over it all. Last week he’s not acknowledged that I’m going which he needs too as he will not be able to run his shop without knowing quite a few things. His business partner who runs our fitting side of the business (tho nothing officially to do with the shop) texted me angry face imojis when I said I’m leaving so I’m giving you a heads up. I’ve looked at what holiday I’ve taken off and it’s a lot less than I thought. I’ve only had 16 days off so would he still have to pay me? Even if I left the end of the month would he have to pay me the 14 days I haven’t had off? I booked off those days for the end of December anyway at the beginning of this year. Me and my wife don’t know much about this as she’s been self employed over 20 years and I’ve been in my job forever. I can see this getting nasty very quickly. I’ve tried to stay professional about it all but my boss has the hump over it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. For me its parking!!!!! Living on a main road I was forever finding random cars taking up 3 spaces on my shared driveway whenever I returned home as idiots thought because the shop was shut i'll just park there so f**k everyone who live in the flats. In the end my local council put me in touch with a parking company and I just issue parking tickets with my smart phone and I love issuing tickets. Especially to my A hole neighbour who I caught out last month.
  15. I do like those subtle black mods Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
