    My Golf 7R is having air con problems. When the temp outside is above 20c, the ac blows hot. When the outside temp is cold, my ac is then fine. Its becoming very frustrating, especially when I have my kids in the car. VW dealer cannot find any faults and also no leaks.

    Its probably been asked a few times. I have the stage 1 APR map. Looking to go straight to stage 3 with MRC. But would like to know how reliable it is? Must be a few people here running stage 3.

    APR Stage 1 Only 0-60mph - 3.74s 100-200kph - 11.04s 1/4 mile - 11.68s (Lifted towards end as car was coming, so could get better IMO)

    Need to change my tyres ASAP and will defiantly be going for Michelin PS4s. However, should I stick to the factory sizing or should I go a little wider for the fronts?

    Im taking the Golf R on a track day to Brands Hatch in a month. I wanted change the brake fluid before I go. Whats the best brake fluid? Also how much would I need for a flush?

    MRC are kings of stage 3 IMO. Ive been thinking about stage 3 for ages but reliability was always a concern and I think Msportman is right. RS3 it the way foward.

    Looking for brake pads. I have looked at Euro Car Parts who sell a Brembo set. Are they the same as VW who also use Brembo?

    My 7R needs front pads changing for the first time. Its running stage 1 APR and thinking of doing few track days this year. Which are the best pads to get? I was thinking RS29 or DS2500 Will I be ok with just changing pads for track?

    Hi, Gave VW my Golf R to investigate my leak. Ended up being the thermostat. They charging me £1200 to fix, but haven given me a goodwill gesture and discounted it to £520. Has anyone else had this problem??? My cars only done 25000 miles / 3 years old.

    As going to another tuner will cost even more £££, I only have to pay around £100 for stage 2 with APR. And free if I buy their downpipe.

    Hi, I have the APR stage 1 high torque map. Also have the MST turbo elbow and silicone boost pipe fitted. Im guessing its running around 370-380. How much gains would I get at stage 2? Was thinking of getting the BCS downpipe with the 200 CEL cat.

    Ive got the APR ECU & TCU remap. ECU is o.k but TCU/DSG remap is terrible IMO. I would go MRC.

    Im afraid you are that guy lol. Ive always used DS2500 on my cars. Even running it on my GTR. Tarox also do a nice setup.

    Get APR ECU AND TCU REMAP and change any setting you want. APR are bit pricey though. MRC & Unicorn are also very good.

    I’ve done some research and has anyone tried replacing the ac compressor solinoid? This is seems to be the problem a lot of the times. It’s a simple £20 fix.

    Hi, has anyone encountered any AC issues? Mine seems to be blowing hot air at times and when it does blow cold, doesn't seem to blow cold enough. Car has done 24k and is 3 years old.

    Hi has anyone used this? As I have a panel filter fitted instead of a induction kit as I dont think its needed.     i believe the B2 are the longest. Wanted longer ones really but these will have to do.
