    Changing sound system.

To be honest its as oem as it gets, only thing is the DSP which sits under the passenger seat, which is the factory location for the Dynaudio amp, the only tell tale sign of it is the subwoofer box which can sit above the boot floor, or underneath. Unfortunately cant take no pictures as i have uninstalled it as I'm selling the car. But there are videos etc on YouTube. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

For sure the oem tweeters once powered by the dsp sound a whole lot better. Remember the factory equaliser is rubbish. I am really impressed with it Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

    Changing sound system.

I recently did an upgrade on my speaker setup, i found the standard speakers pretty pants. So i decided to go for the Audison G7: https://www.carsound.co.uk/audison-prima-apspg7-vw-golf-mk7-sound-upgrade-system Comes with a sub, door speakers and an amp. I have used Audison speakers before and their dsp's are among the best on the market. So i was so glad that they offered an upgrade plug in and play solution. Install was relatively easy and it is on par with any of the upgrades ive heard before. The bass is the highlight. Completely sound tuned for the golf mk7 so thats perfect. Or you can get it tuned to your sound preference. Would definitely recommend if you have standard golf speakers. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

I have used AMD essex and wasn't impressed i travelled from 120 miles away for a APR map and when i got there they said they didnt have the right tools. This was over 4 years ago, so maybe have improved. I have used VRS to carry out a TT V5 turbo upgrade. Will is someone who knows these cars inside out. Cant be happier with the car, so my vote would be to go VRS

    Mk7 R - The Dynaudio Retrofitting Thread

Going to try this myself on my 7.5 R, interesting read top marks to the members who have succeeded. I have got all the parts required, just signed up to Erwin to get the wiring documents, however it doesn't like my bank cards, giving the error The input of your credit card data is invalid. Has anyone had a similar problem? If so how did you get around this? If someone has the wiring documents and any other helpful docs then im willing to pay what i would pay on Erwin to get them. Thanks in advance
