Not entirely sure on price as was fitted with a Ghost II also - I think around 500 for the unit but Ive since read you can get them a lot cheaper if hunt around. Seems there might be 2 versions high and low line and I think the high line is what I have as has guide lines. I didn`t need any other upgrades and my head unit was suitable - looks pretty good/clear.

I intend to complete every 10k but could be longer then 12 months. Does anyone on here use the online VM service log ? I assume that meant you had to use VW garages but Id rather use my local garage as I know and trust the engineers although I`d probably do the DSG service at a specialist.

Prior to the reversing camera being installed the parking pilot ( front / back )looked like the attachment on my first message. Now the camera has been installed the rear is obviously video but the front does not use the original parking pilot screen - this is preferred as bigger and has guide lines. The 2 attachments to this message are what I see now.

New to the forum and Golf R ownership ( have to say I wish i`d brought one years ago ) and I`ve just had the OEM rear badge camera installed as was not installed from new. Factory spec had park pilot. No issues with the reverse camera and seems to be the high line version so very happy with that however when using for the front it just disables video rather then use the park pilot option. I still get audible prompt and a smaller version of the car but missing the guidelines. Is it possible to have both or have I had a wrong rear camera version installed ? Appreciate any advise - obviously a minor gripe with it being front but haven`t spent a fair amount to get installed I like to get fixed if possible.
